This allows for the development of optimal designs and resulting cost efficiency. Through sister company STRUCTA KONSULT, design services can be expanded to include:

• Foundation Design
• Finite element modelling of masts and towers using state of the art software. This allows
detail analysis of structural response, including non-linear performance
(such as buckling) and dynamic response.
• Modelling of masts and towers in PLS Pole and Tower and interaction with line
designers using PLS CADD.

C.I.S MASTS AND TOWERS is also well equipped with both TEKLA Structures and Solid Edge software, thus allowing smooth development of design to factory floor and final assembly. The software is directly linked to CNC drilling lines and angle workers, as well as to laser and plasma cutters with well qualified and experienced draughtsman to facilitate the process.

C.I.S. MASTS AND TOWERS has extensive experience in full scale testing of pylon structures and can offer clients the full scope of planning and expediting of such tests at the Eskom Tower Testing Facility. In addition, structural element testing and material testing can be managed at other leading test laboratories.
